Week 4 of Training

Not too bad of a week. Still have a slight cold but it’s much more dealable now. Disappointed that I didn’t know it was going to be so warm out on Sunday. I should have ran outside. Hopefully some of this warm weather stays for the Chili Bowl 5K on Saturday. Also discovered Just Dance 2 on the Wii and it’s the coolest thing ever!

Monday: 6 miles on the treadmill

Tuesday: Speedwork, 2-1 miles @ 7:06 and 7:02, 2-800’s @ 3:19 and 3:17, 4-400’s @ 1:28, 1:24, 1:22 and 1:17

Wednesday: Rest day, wasn’t really planning on a rest day here but needed to do some job searching and it took a little longer than I thought.

Thursday: Speedwork, 1 mile @ 7:03, 2-800’s @ 3:17 and 3:12, 3-400’s@ 1:27, 1:22 and 1:22. Speedwork is somewhat consistent and getting better. I was supposed to do more but ran out of time and had to get to an early vball game (we lost)

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: 6 miles on the treadmill, football (we lost, highly aggitating team we played) and played Just Dance2 for the first time. Awesome workout, I am so addicted.

Sunday: 10 miles, supposed to do 12 but my legs were too tired.

Total Mileage: 29

  1. Ok, I just checked weather.com and it says sunny and 35 for Saturday so here’s hoping! (I had heard 20 and cloudy last week so this is definitely better!) I love the Chili Bowl. Such a fun time!
