Week 10 of Training

I had a pretty busy week this week but got in as much running as I could. Really looking forward to all the races I have planned for April and for some warmer temperatures.

Monday: Ran 5.5 miles and did squats and calf raises

Tuesday: Speedwork 2 1-miles @ 7:24 and 7:15, 3 800-s @ 3:20, 3:23 and 3:21 and 3 400’s @1:31, 1:26 and 1:22. Not my best speedwork so I’ll have to work on this.

Wednesday: 6 miles

Thursday: 3 miles

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: 5K Race, super cold and no PR. Did pushup app and conditioning at home after the race.

Sunday: 5 Miles-Supposed to be a long run but after a couple miles outside my ears were hurting and I went home. Usually I would finish the run on the treadmill but I waited until the afternoon to run and the gym closes early on Sundays so I didn’t get to finish my run. I call this a long run fail. But that’s ok because I plan on making it up after work today!

Total Mileage: 30?

  1. Nice week! You have a full agenda of races for April, I hope you PR them all! 🙂 We also need to arrange a get-together soon. Maybe you and ManChild can trek out to Vermilion for a spaghetti dinner at our house for you to pre-race carb load!
