Week 15 of Training

Wow am I really at week 15 already? Is the marathon really just right around the corner?

Monday: 6 miles

Tuesday: Speedwork. 1 mile @6:58, 3 800s @ 3:22, 3:25 and 3:20, and 2 400s @ 1:22 and 1:24. I planned on doing more but I ate bad meat and was kinda sick to my stomach.

Wednesday: 5 miles and football 🙂

Thursday: 8 miles in some heavy wind. vball shortly after

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: 12 miles and football

Sunday: Lakewood Ambulance Chase 5K!

Total Mileage: 42

I guess this is where my taper officially begins. However, I am really bad at tapering and really only slightly back off of training. Can’t wait for the marathon and getting really excited since I am seeing the commercials on TV now!

Who is ready for the marathon and who is really looking forward to tapering?
