Week 16 of Training

Is this really the last week before the marathon? Holy Cow did that come up fast!

Monday: Rest Day

Tuesday: Speedwork, 1 mile @ 6:50, 5-800’s @ 3:18, 3:21. 3:21. 3:19 and 3:17, 2-400’s @1:20 and 1:19 and 4 mins running uphill

Wednesday: 5 mile run and football game

Thursday: 5 mile run and vball game

Friday: Rest Day

Saturday: 7 miles and football game

Sunday: super easy 5 miles

Total Mileage: 28

It was really hard for me to not do any racing this weekend especially with the nice weather we had, but I resisted the urge and rested my legs. Hopefully, we will have just as nice weather for this Sunday.

Marathon is just days away, this time next week I will be super sore and barely moving. I Can’t wait!
