So I Had A Bad Day

……or maybe a few but who is counting.

In case you have not heard my hours got cut at work and less hours means less money 😦 I was really upset about this and barely got through the workday so I did what any runner would do and took my aggressions out on my run but was still upset.

So today I am hanging out with some friends….

And although it sucks I am remaining positive because now I will have more time to run, blog and will not hit traffic on my way home from work. Yay!

I also have time for a new hobby….

If you guessed that my new hobby is baby stealing, you are correct.

P.S. Thank you to all my Twitter friends, you are all amazing and always know what to say to make my day better!

  1. I’m sorry your hours got cut 😦 Hopefully it’s short term. Or maybe it’s the universes’ way of saying you need a break and time to shift some priorities around a bit…

  2. Awe, Jess, I’m so sorry to hear about this. You are a strong girl and I know you will get through it….you already have!! These are just tough times and we’re all taking cut backs. Say some prayers, take it all out on running (that’s what we have it for!!), and you’ll find something else. This too shall pass!!!

  3. Man, that’s pretty crappy… Sorry to hear about that B.S. Hang in there, Jess Express. Just think… it’s never as bad as you originally think it is when it happens. If you want to, you can come work for me and I’ll pay you under the table. I work enough hours in one day for two people anyway!

Also: I’m also pretty good at consuming adult beverages, so if you need help working on those margarita’s, holla atcha boy. 😛

  4. I’m so sorry. Hang in there…CLEguy went through something similar at the beginning of the year and it ended up with him in a better job. You never know what other opportunities this may bring. And if you ever need someone to drink or baby steal with, you know where to find me.

  5. I’m so sorry! I don’t know how I missed this news. We had furloughs a few years ago…what kills us makes us stronger (and hopefully richer :P). Enjoy the runs while you can!!
