Liver Life Challenge and Running!

I am so excited to tell you about Cleveland’s own Liver Life Challenge Team that is traveling to my favorite place on Earth, DISNEY WORLD!!!!

Every year Disney has their annual Walt Disney World Marathon where they offer a half marathon race on Saturday, a full marathon on Sunday or my personal favorite the Goofy Challenge where you run the half on Saturday and then the Full on Sunday. The races will take place the weekend  of January 11-13, 2013, and from what I hear they have one awesome expo. Hello running shopping paradise!

Registration for the Cleveland team is open now and official team runs kick off on Saturday September 22nd 2012. It is encouraged that you register now so that you can start fundraising.

By signing up for the Cleveland Liver Life challenge you get a chance to achieve your fitness goals as well as raise funds for the American Liver Foundation. The Liver Life team has an awesome coach this year, Heather from Mile 26 and More. She will help to create a personalized training plan for you to help you cross the finish line. You also get scheduled group runs (7:30am on Saturdays) which gives you the chance to train with your expert coach as well as meet with other runner who will be down in Florida with you.

The Liver Life Challenge even helps you out with the logistics of the race. Once you sign up and fundraise $3,400, the organization will pay for your airfare, hotel accommodations, race registration, team gear, and even most meals. Not a bad deal if you ask me!

“Make A Difference. Feel the exhilaration of crossing the finish line knowing you’ve helped the American Liver Foundation in the fight against liver disease.”
