Cleveland Marathon Training Week 14

I’m going to keep this short as I am still thinking about those in Boston.

I kept a really good secret over the past few weeks and decided to run the Athens Marathon last Sunday. It wasn’t pretty but I feel it has prepared me for Cleveland. I will post a recap later this week.

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 2.5 mile run/walk with my sister
Wednesday: 3 mile run and 90 min hot yoga
Thursday: 90 min hot yoga
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: Rest Day
Sunday: Athens Marathon 26.2 miles (Marathon #11)

Total Mileage: 31.7

For anyone who is afraid to run after what happened in Boston, don’t be. Cleveland is a great race, highly organized and they truly care about their runners. They will do everything they can to keep us safe.

  1. I got to run with Chelsea the day you ran the Athens full! We were chatting about how you were running the 1/2 that day — SNEAKY LADY!!! Job well done, can’t wait for the recap!
