Busy Weekend and Attending a Wedding as a Married Couple

**Don’t forget! After almost 3 years I had a crisis and changed my blog name. Update your readers or however else you save blogs. www.thetamburarunner.com

Last weekend I was sick and pretty much stayed in bed or on the couch. This weekend I was all over the place. Definitely made up for it this weekend.

Friday night I went out to Humble Wine Bar for drinks and dinner with good friends Kristen and Beal. Finally got to hear about Beal’s first half ironman! I also finally found the bag of s’mores candy corn I was looking for.

Saturday I went to a wedding. Our first wedding as a married couple! I was so excited to not have to go out to the bouquet toss and to do the anniversary dance. Sadly, there was no anniversary dance but I’ll forgive them since they had so a beautiful wedding.

I tried to take as many pictures as I could. Being a recent bride myself, I loved seeing all the pictures on facebook the next day. It kind of helped to hold me over til I get the professional ones back.

Sunday was the Heroes Run. I’ll have more to say about that in a race recap. But to sum it up, it was a great race and I’ll be back.

After 13 miles Sunday, making chicken noodle soup from scratch, hanging out with my in laws (love them!) and spending quality time with Bodhi, my weekend was over 😦

It was really hard to leave this little guy this morning too. He was being super adorable and just wanted to play. Also, it’s Monday so always hard to leave him. He even followed Ryan around all morning (usually he follows me around) so I told Ryan he had to call in sick to work to stay with Bodhi.

  1. Must have been weird (but fun) to attend your first wedding (since your wedding). You spend so much time planning your own and all that, must have been nice to relax and enjoy this one knowing you already have your man!
